STRUCTURAL
STEEL ERECTION

A simple clock showing the time as 6:00.

Erecting steel structures is always complex which is why expertise and precision are crucial throughout the process to ensure efficiency as well as safety.

At Patton Engineering, we have over 40 site staff across four regions and all staff members are required to have a minimum of the following 3 tickets:
- Site safe
- MEWP (mobile elevating work platforms),
- and Working at heights.

Our scope of work covers structural steel erection of new buildings, seismic strengthening of existing buildings, and from time to time plant maintenance and installations. We have recently purchased 2 new Merlo telehandlers and a spider crane to help projects run even more smoothly.

Planning can start up to six months out from the site start date and we have expertise in the following:
- Wide loads
- Accessibility into site for truck deliveries
- Cranes
- Lift plans
- Mobile plant (MEWP and Telehandlers)
- Installation methodology and sequence of site install.

With over 70 years of skin in the game, Patton Group are your one-stop-shop for engineering expertise. With a focus on structural steel fabrication, mechanical engineering, seismic strengthening, surface protection and sand-blasting systems, if you’re looking for a solution, we’ve got the service.
