Revamp of McLean Park gets Underway
Patton Engineering got maximum exposure in the Hawke’s Bay Magpies win over Waikato during this year’s Air New Zealand Cup.
Patton Engineering are proud to be involved in the redevelopment of McLean Park, working with Mainzeal Construction as the subcontractor providing structural steel and site erection for the construction of the new Graeme Lowe Grandstand. This stand replaces the old McKenzie stand which, as the above pictures show, was part way through being demolished. The project commenced in September 2008, with Patton’s involvement due to run for approx 16 weeks. Final completion of the grandstand is expected in August 2009. The grandstand will require approx 220 tonne of steel, including fabricated beams.
